Setsu & Shinobu Ito are both Japanese designers with a broad work experience in architecture, interior and space, surface, product, industrial and packaging design. They opened their design studio in 1997, and since then, they work and consult for international clients, in a wide range of activities in the design. Setsu Ito, graduated from Tsukuba University in Japan, began collaborating with leader of avant-garde italian design Alessandro Mendini, and then with great master of modern architecture and design, Angelo Mangiarotti. Shinobu Ito, graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo, started her career for CBS Sony in Sony Creative Products and attained a Master Degree at Domus Academy, Milan. Their works have been presented and exhibit all around the world and also have been published in many books and magazines. They also received design awards such as: : "Compasso d' Oro" (2011, Italy), "Compasso d' Oro Menzione d' Onore" (2011, Italy), "Red Dot Award Best of the Best" (2016, Germany, Singapore), "Design Plus" (2016, Germany), "NY NOW Best Product" (2017, USA), ”The Good Design Award (2001, Japan), “Mastro d'arte della pietra” (2019, Italy_ since 1319 this award for the 700th anniversary of the traditional award given to the stone artist Maestro) and many other international design awards. Some projects are a part of permanent collection of the Die Neue Sammlung Design Museum in Munich (Germany) and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan (Italy). They are visiting professors of Domus Academy, Polytechnic University of Milan, IUAV / Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, IED / Istituto Europeo di Design of Milan, Raffles Milano (Italy) and Tama Art University (Shinobu Ito, Japan). Professor of University of Tsukuba (Setsu Ito, Japan), Project Professor (Setsu Ito) and Project Associate Professor (Shinobu Ito) of the Research Center for Advanced Science & Technology at the University of Tokyo (Japan). They are a member of the ADI / Associazione Disegno Industriale (Italy), board member of the JAFCA / Japan Fashion Color Association (Japan) and the APDF / Asia Pacific Designers Federation (China). They are also a part of International Design Awards such as the IF / International Forum Design Award (Germany), IAI Design Award (China). Published a biography book “Setsu & Shinobu Ito_E- ast-West Designer” (Logos Italy 2008).

Setsu & Shinobu Ito sono due designer giapponesi con una vasta esperienza di lavoro in svariati settori, tra cui architettura, interior e space, product, industrial e packaging design. Hanno aperto il proprio studio di design nel 1997, e da allora, lavorano e svolgono l'attività di consulenza per clienti internazionali, in una vasta gamma di attività nel campo del design. Setsu Ito, laureato presso l'Università di Tsukuba in Giappone, ha iniziato a collaborare con il leader del design di avanguardia italiano Alessandro Mendini, e con il grande maestro dell'architettura moderna e del design, Angelo Mangiarotti. Shinobu Ito, laureatasi alla Tama Art University di Tokyo, ha iniziato la sua carriera per la CBS Sony presso Sony Creative Products e ha conseguito un Master presso la Domus Academy di Milano. I loro lavori sono stati presentati in tutto il mondo e sono stati pubblicati in numerosi libri e riviste del settore. Insieme vinsero numerosi riconoscimenti: "Copasso d'Oro" (2011, Italia), "Compasso d' Oro Menzione d'Onore" (2011, Italia), "Red dot Award Best of the Best" (2016, Germania, Singapore), "Design Plus" (2016, Germania), "NY NOW Best Product" (2017, USA), ”The Good Design Award (2001, Giappone), “Mastro d'arte della pietra” (2019, Italia_premio Mastro della pietra ha raggiunto il 700° anniversario) e molti altri premi. Alcuni progetti presero parte alle collezioni permanenti del Museo Die Neue Sammlung di Monaco e della Triennale di Milano.  Setsu & Shinobu Ito sono visiting professors presso la Domus Academy di Milano, Il Politecnico di Milano, IUAV di Venezia, IED / Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano, Raffles Milano (Italia) e la Tama Art University (Shinobu Ito, Giappone). Professore della Università di Tsukuba (Setsu Ito), Progetto Professore (Setsu Ito) e Progetto Professore Associato (Shinobu Ito) del Research Center for Advanced Science & Technology della Università di Tokyo. Sono membri dell' ADI / Associazione Disegno Industriale (Italia), membri della JAFCA / Japan Fashion Color Association (Japan) e dell' APDF / Asia Pacific Designers Federation (China). Fanno parte della giuria di premi internazionale di design compreso IF / International Forum Design Award (Germany) e di IAI Design Award (Cina). 伊藤節と伊藤志信は、建築、インテリア、スペースからプロダクト、パッケージデザインまで多岐にわたるデザインを総合的に行っているデザイナーである。1997 年ミラノにデザイン事務所を設立し、世界各国のクライアントに対する幅広いデザイン開発、デザインコンサルタント業務を行う。伊藤節は筑波大学大学院修了後、イタリア前衛デザインの騎手アルキミア／アレッサンドロ・メンディーニ、モダン建築・デザインの大巨匠アンジェロ・マンジャロッティ事務所を経て独立。伊藤志信は多摩美術大学卒業後、CBSソニー(現ソニーミュージックエンターテイメント)、ソニークリエイティブプロダクツを経てドムスアカデミー修了後独立。世界各国で作品発表、展示会を行い、その作品は多数の書籍や雑誌に掲載されている。ゴールデンコンパス賞 / Premio Compasso d'oro(2011年, Italy)、ゴール デンコンパス・メンツィオーネドノーレ賞 / Premio Compasso d'oro Menzione d'Onore(2011年, Italy)、デザインプラ ス賞 / Design Plus(2016年, Germany)、 レッドドットアワード ベストオブベスト賞 / Red Dot Award Best of the Best (2016年, Germany, Singapore)、ニューヨークナウ ベストプロダクト賞 / NY NOW Best Product(2017年, USA)、グ ッドデザイン賞 / Good Design(2001年, Japan)、マストロ・ダ・アルテ・デッラ・ピエトラ賞 / Mastro d'arte della pietra(2019年, Italy_1319年から続く石の芸術家マエストロに与えられる伝統的な賞の700周年記念受賞)、等多くの国 際デザイン賞を受賞。その作品は、ミュンヘンのディ・ノイエ・ザムルング近代美術館 / Die Neue Sammlung、ミラノトリエンナーレデザイン美術館 / Triennale Milanoに永久所蔵されている。世界各国で講演会を行う。ミラノ工科大学 / Politecnico di Milano デザイン校、ベネツィア大学 / IUAV デザイン校、ドムス・アカデミー / Domus Academy (Italy)、IED / インスティテュート・ヨ ーロペオ・ディ・デザイン ミラノ校、ラッフルズ・ミラノ / Raffles Milano マスターデザイン (Italy)で契約教授。東京大学先端科学技術研究センター特任教授 (伊藤節) / 特任准教授 (伊藤志信) (Japan)、筑波大学教授 (伊藤節)、多摩美術大学客員教授 (伊藤志信, Japan)。ADI / イタリア・インダストリアル・デザイン協会会員 (Italy)、JAFCA / 日本流行色協会 (Japan )、APDF China)のボードメンバー。IFデザイン賞 / IF Design Award (Germany)、IAIデザイン賞 / IAI Design Award (China) 他、国際デザイン賞の審査員を務める。モノグラフ出版本“Setsu & Shinobu Ito_East & West Designer"(Logos 出版社,2008年, Italy) が出版される。
