SHIBU | EXIBITION MACEF MILANO 2000 - 2003 |
An exotic lamp made from polypropylene with intaglio
decoration. Circles and concentric ellipses are cut into the
material to create a sistematic pattern of "petals" that can be
oriented in different directions to produce evocative effects on
the walls. The pattern on the lamp surface itself creates a
beautiful relief, with the void filled by the light shining
through. Availble in three different sizes to be used as a
floor, a table and a wall lamp. The totem version is created by
stacking two of the larger lamps. Presented at the: Macef (Milan, 2000-2003) Appeared in the GARBAGE video "Cherry lips".
