KIVINO | Exhibited Milan Salone 2003 |
Wine bottles have always been covered by labels...our
labels would like to dress the bottles instead. Inspired by the closing system of the kimonos, the label is composed by three layered paper sheets. The layers can be opened one by one unrevealing each time, additional charachteristics of the wine, until you get to the bottle itself. The three layers are closed with a precious rope. The first layer is blank, in order to hide the content. The second has the brand logo and the wine's name, year and origin. The third layer reports deeper information about the particular charachteristics of the wine. The label comes in two different versions, the first is completely white and the second has three different colors, one for each layer (black, red and white) according to the oriental simbology. The label allows to know step by step the wine, in order to be conscious of the quality of wine we're going to taste.
