Set of two informal seats with an organic form linked to
Japanese symbolism: one seat meets the other one to create
various configurations, as indicated by the symbol AU that in
Japanese means "to meet". Inspired by the concept of Silence,
the form dynamically develops along an ascending spiral defining
a "New Simplicity" that encompasses attributes such as stability
and liveliness. The two elements can be placed closer together
or further apart according both to the relational needs and to
the need of setting up different scenes in harmony with the
daily rhythms. The two elements consist of expanded polyurethane
covered by a bio-elastic fibre available in various colours. The
upper part of the backrest is covered with leather and provides
