For the exhibition Carpet of Stone
, present at the pad 1 to the event Marmomacc , Setsu & Shinobu
Ito have devised Tide , a three-dimensional carpet in white
Carrara marble , optical effect obtained from combinatorial game
of an evocative image printed digital and from the cutting of
the marble slabs.Tide is the tide , the waves rolling in , which
creates visual iridescent reflections. The detail of the design
in relief marble represents the bubbles of sea water , which ,
during tide , creates a moving perspective changing the size of
