| STONE FOREST - Marmomac 2019 | "The Art Master of Stone" Award 2019 | ||

Four types of marble from Carrara, Tuscany (Bardiglio,
Calacatta, Statuarietto, Bianco Carrara) are specially processed
to create an organic stone forest, a stone lotus pond as a
symbol of life floating in water, and the nature where life is
born. The theme expresses a new way of stone garden. While the
experience of tangible things is diminished by the digitization
of things, this is a space design work that challenges how to
bring stone, which is a heavy natural material, closer to the
beauty of nature with modern advanced processing technology.
Lithic Garden Exhibition, Marmomac 2019. トスカーナのカッラーラ産の4種類の大理石 (バルディリオ、カラカッタ、スタトゥアリエット、ホワイトカッラーラ)を特殊加工し、有機的な石の森林と水に浮かぶ生命の象徴としての石の蓮池、生命が生まれる 自然をテーマに新たな石庭のあり方を表現した。もののデジタル化によりタンジブルなものの体験が希薄化する中、重厚な自然素材である石材を現代の先端加工技術で如何に自然の美しさに近づけるかに挑戦した空間デザイン作品である。 Location: Verona Products: STONE FOREST Design: Setsu & Shinobu Ito Production: ERREBI MARMO Design work year: 2019 |
