Set of two kitchen blocks, Isola Bar and Isola Cook,
created to come away from the traditional kitchen walls and
become pieces of furniture at the centre of an open and
architecturally destructured domestic enviroment.This dynamic
heart of conviviality in the house favours the communication
within the family and among friends. The two blocks are mobile
so that they can be placed closer together or further apart
according to the relational needs and to set up different scenes
in the space. The way in which their form develops
three-dimensionally, evokes the image of a rocky isle
fluctuating on the sea and attracting the curiosity of fish that
wind around to explore dunes and gorges. The two blocks, made of
stainless steel using a high quality handcrafted technique, are
